Ralph Carder R.I.P

Ralph Carder passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, December 29th.  We are all going to miss Ralph tremendously.  He was a true inspiration to so many others, with his unwavering faith in God.

For numerous years Ralph has coordinated the intercessors for the weekly Prayers of the People in church, including taking an active part in this himself. He last led the Prayers of the People for our YouTube service on November 15 having driven himself to church (well into his nineties) to record them.

Well done, good and faithful servant.  Rest in peace, dear friend, and rise in glory!

We send our love and our condolences to his wife Gill, and to their daughters and their families.  Please keep them in your prayers in this time of sorrow and loss.

In the current Covid-19 situation it is not possible to hold a full Celebration of Life service for Ralph. This will follow later when we are all able to gather together again safely.  But Gill, with family members and close friends who are able to be there, will gather at the memorial garden at St. Francis-in-the-Wood to commend Ralph Carder's soul to God and to return his earthly remains to the earth.
