The Legacy Fund manages gifts that come to St. Francis through testamentary bequests and testamentary trusts. It is managed by trustees consisting of the rector, wardens, and members of the parish council.
Funds generated are intended for those in need in British Columbia. These would include disadvantaged youth, the poor, the elderly, the homeless, the sick, the disabled and those suffering from substance addiction, both within and outside the parish.
Vestry and parish council provide general direction to the trustees for the use of income from the fund. Income or capital is not used to supplement the parish operating budget or to meet capital needs
