First Live Streamed Service at St. Francis-in-the-Wood

Our first regular Live Streamed Sunday service took place on Sunday 20th June. Everything worked fine and the volunteer technicians did a great job! The recording is here. The service features a new song written and performed by Tom Arntzen in response to the horrific discovery of the children buried in Kamloops - "God is Revealed." Here are the words:

God’s love Is revealed in the face of a child’s pure light.

Love is showing.

To be safe and protected is every child’s right.

Love is knowing.

It’s up to us to be a voice for the children

Who silently call to us from the past.

It’s up to us to make amends, to call on our friends,

To do our part, right the wrongs, at last.

God’s love is revealed when we tell the truth

Even when it’s too painful to tell.

The child in you is a child of God.

We will help the nations to heal.

The truth is no longer concealed,

God’s love is revealed.

The tears of the people, we pray, will soon find relief.

God consoles them.

Someone is lost, but something is found, in grief.

God will hold them.
