So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching.

Friends
This Sunday we begin our annual stewardship campaign, a moment which invites us to pause and discern about how we can and do support our ministry together. A ministry which I believe has at its core what Paul wrote to the Hebrews, which is a ministry of encouragement.
Encouragement in love is more than just cheering from the sidelines, it's about having skin in the game- as it were. Skin in the game which is about seeing and recognizing that what we have is both from God at its origin and for the benefit of others at the same time. Meaning what we have is something to be given back with thanksgiving for the abundance in which we’ve been given it. And that's not just about money either. Its the abundance of our health, our time, our capacity, creativity and even the span of our very lives.
But what is our ministry of love today? I believe our ministry of love is to seek God in all things because all things come to us from God. A relationship which is anchored in and expressed through prayer, community, music, and worship. A relationship which gives us hope for life because of what it offers us, which is purpose and connection in God.
So let's do it, friends. Let's do it- this ministry we share- trusting that together with God nothing is impossible in 2025. Nothing is impossible as we continue to expand, deepen, and celebrate the joy we have here together in community. A community which impacts thousands of lives across this city.
An impact made possible by the gift of your life among us.
See you Sunday!
