Let’s be honest—this month has been a long year already. There’s a lot of things happening right now, many of which we don’t have any control over. It can feel like things are shifting under our feet, making it hard to know where to stand. But what if steadiness isn’t about having all the answers, but about knowing where to place our trust?
This week, we step into a story about Jesus in the wilderness—hungry, tired, and facing some big temptations. He’s offered quick fixes, easy outs, the kind of certainty we all crave. But instead of grasping for control, he chooses trust. And in doing so, he shows us a different kind of strength—the kind that doesn’t rely on having everything figured out but rests in something deeper.
Maybe you’re feeling the weight of uncertainty right now. Maybe you’re searching for something solid. Wherever you are, you’re not alone. God meets us even in the shifting sands of the wilderness.
Come Sunday to find out how the story ends.
Bring a friend, bring two! Maybe community is just what they need right now too.
