Join us for an evening that begins with a gourmet meal and is followed by a live and silent auction.  Some of the "promised items" to date are:

  • Round of golf for three (your host makes 4) plus lunch and suitable libations at Capilano Golf Club
  • An Iranian dinner for up to 15 people (yes, up to 15 - you can make this a party!)
  • An afternoon's sail in English Bay for 4 people (with suitable libations!)
  • A journey in a VIntage car (scarf and goggles supplied!)
  • Six hours of a handyman for work at your home - carpentry, electrical, plumbing (I'm told this could be almost any job - but no big landscaping boulders!)
  • One day's Salmon fishing in summer 2015 (maybe the Pink's in August?)
  • A Thai dinner for 4 (cooked by an expert!)
  • An afternoon's crabbing in Howe Sound for 4 people, followed by dinner (claw crackers supplied!)
  • 4 tickets for 2015 Bard on the Beach (you choose what you want to see - the Scottish play perhaps!)
  • Pair of (almost) front row tickets for the Canucks versus Coyotes on April 9th 2015 (great present for a young fan)
  • An evening of song and music in your own home by "Heart & Soul" (Book for a Dinner Party etc - they are already fully booked for December!).  
  • A bagpiper for a special occasion.  (Wedding, Birthday etc - but he does not do funerals!)
  • A personal tour of DeVine Vineyards on Vancouver Island for 8 people.  (With tasting of your host's libations!  Perhaps combine with a visit to Butchart Gardens?)
  • English afternoon tea for 6 (with suitable libations - "tea" I presume?)
  • Jazz with the Vicar.  Jazz appreciation session for 8 (also with suitable libations - maybe Speakeasy cocktails?)
  • Two pottery dinner platters (found in Aunty's attic, so they must be old?)
  • Voucher for Dinner (or lunch) at the Mongoli Grill in Whistler (Ski in, eat out)
  • Pair of tickets for Mendelssohn"s Elijah with the VSO and the Bach Choir at the Orpheum, March 28th, 2015 (Culture and sophistication!)
  • Nordic or Cross Country ski lesson for two.  Includes all equipment and a one day mountain pass, plus hot chocolate and snack at Hollyburn Lodge (You know you've always wanted to try it!)
  • Pair of tickets for Godspell on the Granville Island stage, plus voucher for appies at Edible Canada (date to be advised)
  • Two "Caulfeild Cottage" Quebecois style Tortieres (each serves 8-10 people) plus special homemade relish (Secret recipes not divulged!) 
  • Box of 6 superior red wines from Painted Rock Winery - includes 2 Red Icon, 2 Merlot and 2 Syrah (It was the best of times, it was the best of wines)
  • Two "Healing Touch" sessions with Mary Millerd
  • Professional decorator will give 6 hours of interior house painting (no ceilings or walls over 10 feet as he has short arms!)
  • A set of 5 books containing words and music for all of the Gilbert & Sullivan operas (the next Choir/Caulfeild Cove event??)
  • A Panoramic New Year's Ladies Lunch for 6 (Get high on the view as you munch your lunch)
  • A family sized Whistler Condo for 7 days during March 2015 Spring Break (10th - 17th) (Ski, ski and apres ski)
  • $300 gift certificate for personal fitness training (an ideal present - for him, or her!)
  • Basket of 5 European wines (You can pay in Euros if you wish, but Canadian dollars are preferred)
  • Basket of 5 New & Old World wines (the new and old refers to the geography not the age of the wine)
  • “Two Rivers Meat Pack” to the value of $300 (A picture will be displayed - you wont have to hurry home to the freezer)
  • “Prayer Shawl” knitted to the colour of your choice (A special item for a special friend or family member)
